Happy Thanksgiving!

Things that are currently on my mind:

  • Autumn sunshine streaming through my window and bathing the room with light. It is just beautiful today.
  • Football. Surprisingly, I like football. Edmonton is against Toronto today. Go Edmonton go! (I'm a Stampeders Fan at heart, though).
  • Fall Cleaning. Our yard is a wreck. I really need to get it in order before the snow flies. Don't get me started on the house. It will all be cleaned up before November, though - I can't go on vacation and then come back to the reality of a messy house.
  • Medicine. I took my last does of antibiotics this morning. The previous set of antibiotics landed me a trip to emergency. Who knew I was allergic?
  • Perfume. I have four perfumes that I cannot decide between ordering: Snow, Paperback, Cinnamon Bun, and Bonfire. Supposedly, they all smell exactly like their name. Any thoughts, Internet? I honestly don't know which one.
  • My Wedding. I cannot believe it is less than a month away. I feel so unprepared. Not unprepared to get married. No prob there. It's the wedding part that I find a little terrifying. At least the wedding is followed by four days of total relaxation. I am so looking forward to that.
  • My wonderful kids who are actually giving me some quiet time on the computer while they play together on the floor. Believe me, I appreciate these moments.

Life is so hectic right now. It's rare that I've had some spare moments to sit and blog. It's difficult sometimes keeping up with the pace, but I am truly grateful for my life. I'm getting married to the man I love, I have a wonderful family, and I am working in a profession that I really enjoy -- how many people get to follow their passion at work? This Thanksgiving, I have an overabundance of blessings. I hope all of you also have too much happiness to count.

Yard looks pretty good now. The housework will keep--enjoy the children before they grow up and get married.

Bonfire? I think that would give me a headache. I'd go for cinnamon bun - though I guess it might make me perpetually hungry!
