Bleah

I've been feeling really mucky lately and apparently I am suffering a bit of post-baby depression. I didn't think you could get it this long after the birth, but that shows what I know. Luckily, I shouldn't have any problems avoiding Tom Cruise considering my current lifestyle. I'll just have to avoid "popping over to LA" for a few months. Um, yeah. So, no problem at all.

Not a big fan of Tom Cruise, think he's a bit of a freak. I am not a big fan of medications for myself. I have had a few bad experiences with antibiotics and anti-depressants. I don't take medications and I won't unless it's something serious. I prefer to treat naturally and by maintaining good habits everyday - preventative measures. However, I would never force my views on other people or criticize them for their choices in how they take care of themselves. My motto in life "to each his/her own - as long as you're not hurting anyone". No couch jumping for me. Tom Cruise in entitled to his opinion and his way of doing things but he has no right to criticize other people for choosing a different way. Besides if that's what being a Scientologist does to you....

Hope you feel better Ash. It could just be general blahs. I get that sometimes and I feel really bad for several days and it scares me to think that I could be back sliding, but it usually turns around. Just remember to embrace your feelings - it's okay to feel sad, take care of yourself, lean on your support system, and if all else fails be grateful you're not dating Tom Cruise....

Big hugs honey.

Do you have time for a walk in the sunshine? May not be the cure for you, but always makes me feel a tiny bit better.

I'm not going to be taking meds if I can help it. I don't really want to expose LilyMab to them. Plus, the one time I took antidepressants, they basically just made me into a soulless zombie. Fun. That said, I am happy for the people who find that they work for them. My body just happens to hate them.

Meantime, I am taking vitamins (my iron level is in the cellar) and exercising every day. It will hopefully pass soon. I'm getting Jake a medal for putting up with me - it can't be easy to comfort someone who cries because we've run out of bread. I mean, honestly, that's just sad. :)

But is it white bread or brown... or maybe even multi grain? It really matters!!!
