VACATION!!!

Okay, really it's just a 4 day weekend, but this is my level of excitement. It's been a long time since I have had any time off.

You know, not counting last week when I spent the whole week off with pneumonia. Who freakin' gets pneumonia?

Me, apparently.

Anyway, am taking the kids to the zoo tomorrow. Kind of hate the zoo now that I am grown up and realize the animals are sad and enclosed, but know that the kids will love it. I will just avoid looking at the elephants. Also have plans to take the kids to the science centre where they have recreated....Sesame Street! Can you stand it? Sunny days...I am ver ver excited. Far too excited for someone who has passed the other side of 30. Oh well. Sesame Street!!!

And I am going to visit my grandfather for his 95th birthday. I really really hope I inherit his constitution. It would be cool to see 95.

That's it...must continue packing so I am done for when Thammuz gets home!

take the WHAT BAD BOOK ARE YOU test.

and go to mewing.net. not as good as reading a good book, but way better than a bad one.

When life gives you lemons...

You buy Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii.

I've had a craptacular couple of weeks. Interviewing sucks. People who decide they can't handle a job after four hours of work suck. Doctors appointments suck. Parades in pouring down rain suck...especially when you are walking. Putting in a new floor sucks (but I am anticipating the end result and that makes me happy). Laundry that does not do itself definitely sucks.

But now Bowser will feel my wrath! Bahahahahahahahahahaa......

And I also got pink grapefruit body wash! w00t!

Oh, Good, It's almost Rodeo...

And it's pouring down rain. And the short term forecast is for more rain. And the long term forecast is for more rain. And while I do love rain, I am supposed to be walking in this damn rain for the parade chasing after the library float, strings of wet hair slapping into my face, as I try and hand out candy to the zillion kids lining the parade route taunting me with their umbrellas and hot chocolate.

But it will be fun, right?
